XBIZ Amsterdam opened on September 10, 2026 at Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, running through September 13 and marking the debut of X3 Amsterdam — the European edition of XBIZ's consumer-facing expo — running concurrently with the trade conference on a separate floor of the same venue. XBIZ released the full show schedule on September 7. The week closes with the 2026 XMA Europe Awards on Sunday, September 13, presented by Fansly, with 980 nominees across 62 categories announced ahead of the show.

Why It Matters

The 2026 trade calendar has been unusually turbulent. ANME ended its 30-year run, SZI Expo slipped from September 2026 to March 2027 under Shenzhen government restrictions, AVN booked Virgin Hotels for a consolidated January 2027 show, and Altitude added a fall buying event for 2027 to fill the gap ANME left. Against that backdrop, XBIZ merging its European trade conference with a brand-new consumer expo in one venue is a bet on a specific thesis: that the events business consolidates around fewer, larger, hybrid gatherings rather than a dense calendar of specialized regional shows. For pleasure brands specifically, the co-located structure is a real commercial argument. A single trip now yields buyer meetings upstairs and direct consumer demonstration downstairs — the latter increasingly valuable for a category that cannot advertise its products on any major social platform. Fleshlight bringing both continental teams and a creator roster is the template: use the consumer floor for content and reach that would be impossible to buy through conventional media, and the trade floor for the orders. The thing to watch over the next several days is whether the two audiences actually coexist. Trade attendees historically resent fan-expo foot traffic, and creators resent being treated as booth decoration. If the separate-floors design holds, expect the format to be copied at other XBIZ properties; if it does not, the January Vegas calendar will show it quickly.

The two-floor structure is the notable design change. The private upper-floor XBIZ Amsterdam space hosts company lounges, panel discussions, networking and programming built for trade attendees, while the main show floor delivers X3's mix of exhibitor booths, star signing stations, screenings and interactive entertainment open to consumers. It is a deliberate attempt to run a B2B conference and a fan expo as distinct experiences without splitting the venue, the calendar or the travel budget — a structural answer to the perennial problem that trade shows and consumer shows want incompatible things from the same exhibitors.

Pleasure-product brands are showing up in force. Fleshlight announced it is sponsoring the XBIZ/X3 Expo and bringing its combined U.S. and European teams to Amsterdam with a creator lineup, framing the trip around continued expansion in the European market. Age and identity verification vendor Amie Vouch picked up a nomination for Best Web Services Company — a small but telling sign of which supplier categories now matter enough to the European adult business to warrant an awards slot. The Amsterdam week also feeds directly into the invitation-only Ibiza Experience on September 22–25.
