From September 4–8, 2026, Womanizer exhibited at IFA Berlin — Europe's largest consumer electronics trade show — from a stand in the IFA Beauty Hub, alongside mainstream technology and beauty brands rather than in any adult-industry side room. EAN reported the appearance on September 10. The brand used the show to present two products: the Womanizer Next Liberty, a compact premium device bringing its 3D Pleasure Air Technology into a travel format, and the Womanizer Snap, described as the smallest Womanizer to date and set to launch in Europe on September 22, 2026.
Why It Matters
Trade-show access is a leading indicator for retail and advertising access. Brands that can exhibit at IFA can generally get buyer meetings, tech-press coverage and beauty-retail distribution that are otherwise closed to sexual wellness by category policy. Womanizer — part of the WOW Tech / Lovense group — is using the largest platform available in Europe to reclassify itself from "adult novelty" to "beauty tech," and an award from a mainstream reviewer at that show is precisely the third-party validation a buyer needs to justify the shelf. The Snap's September 22 European launch date is the near-term thing to watch; a "smallest ever" device from the brand that built the air-pulse category suggests a push at the compact/travel price tier, where Satisfyer and a long tail of sub-$50 competitors have been eating share. The Next Liberty covers the same brief at the premium end. For the wider industry, IFA joins CES as a venue where sexual wellness is normal programming rather than a controversy. That's the slow, unglamorous work that eventually unlocks the real prizes — mainstream ad platforms and mainstream retail. The Snap picked up a Reviewed award at the fair — a mainstream consumer-electronics award, at a mainstream consumer-electronics show, for a clitoral stimulator. That is the entire strategic point of the exercise. "Being at IFA is about much more than showcasing our latest products," said Verena Singmann, Head of PR at Womanizer. "It is about demonstrating that sexual wellness is technology, innovation and wellbeing, and that it belongs in the same conversations as other products designed to improve people's everyday lives." She added that visitors "were very open, interested and wanted to learn more."
Womanizer also took the Creator Stage with a talk titled "The Glow you are missing: Why Pleasure is the ultimate Beauty Tech," delivered by Singmann alongside Elisabeth Neumann, the brand's Head of User Research. The beauty-tech framing is deliberate positioning: it routes the category through a retail and media vertical — beauty — that has vastly more shelf space, ad inventory and trade-show access than sexual wellness has on its own.
Context matters for how notable this is. CES reinstated its sex tech category in 2020 only after publicly revoking and then restoring an innovation award to Lora DiCarlo, and the category has spent the years since negotiating booth placement and advertising rules show by show. A stand in IFA's Beauty Hub, with award recognition and stage programming, represents the category being processed as ordinary consumer electronics rather than as a special case requiring a policy decision.

Womanizer was not the only pleasure brand working the IFA Berlin floor, and the second one brought a prototype sex robot. On September 18, 2026, Lovense issued a release — distributed via PR Newswire from Singapore and picked up September 20 — announcing what it called its European debut at IFA Berlin 2026, after years of exhibiting at CES in the United States. That makes two of the category's largest device makers presenting at the same mainstream consumer-electronics show in the same week, which is a materially different signal than one brand securing a Beauty Hub stand.
Lovense structured its booth as an experience called "A Day in the Lovense Ecosystem," built around four segments representing moments in a user's day: the Lovense Remote App for partner control, long-distance sync for separated couples, gaming integration, and digital interaction. The framing is a deliberate move away from selling individual devices and toward selling a connected platform — the same argument the company has been making through its Adult Game Fest sponsorship and its in-game storefront inside the adult title "Snapshot."
The harder news is the hardware. Lovense exhibited the second prototype of its Intimate Doll in Europe for the first time, describing a device with natural voice interaction and responsive physical movement designed to learn and adapt to individual user preferences, and to operate in conjunction with other products in the Lovense ecosystem for coordinated multi-device experiences. That is a companion-robot product being shown at a mainstream European electronics fair rather than at an adult trade show — and it lands in the same month as the Somnia Lab Model L motion-capture disclosures and the Evas Doll voice-controlled leg system, in a segment where announced capability has consistently run ahead of shipping product. Lovense's release gives no pricing, specification detail or ship date for the prototype, and no independent hands-on assessment of the unit exists; treat the capability claims as company statements until someone outside the company has used one.
The through-line with the original Womanizer story holds: IFA is now functioning as a second CES for this category, with two major brands, mainstream media coverage and — in Womanizer's case — an award from a mainstream reviewer. The venue question appears settled. What Lovense adds is that the products being brought through that door are getting substantially more ambitious than air-pulse stimulators.

Snap is out, and the first spec sheet and pricing are available. The Womanizer Snap launched in Europe on September 22, 2026 as planned. Erotic Trade Only covered the trade launch on September 28 with confirmed specifications. Snap is Womanizer's smallest product so far, measuring 5.8 × 4 × 3.1 cm. It has 6 Pleasure Air intensity levels, up to 60 minutes of runtime, IPX7 waterproofing and a five-year warranty. It recharges from a pocket-sized USB-C charging case with a built-in mirror, so it looks more like an earbud case than a sex toy. Womanizer also sells a separate silver pouch with a key ring for carrying Snap and its case on a bag. ETO says it is "now available at womanizer.com."
The marketing numbers are Womanizer's own. Per ETO, 100% of user-test participants agreed Snap is suitable for travel, dates and overnight stays. A French sponsored feature in Les Numériques (marked "Dossier sponsorisé") adds brand-reported figures of a 98% orgasm rate and 96% satisfaction with the charging case. These come from brand-run user tests, not independent trials, so treat them as marketing claims. On pricing, Singapore retailer CherryAffairs lists Snap at SGD 154. We have not yet confirmed a US or UK list price, and Womanizer's US storefront did not show the product when we checked.
What changed since September 21: At IFA, Snap was a prototype with a launch date. It is now on sale with published specs. The charging-case design is the interesting part: it moves Womanizer away from being bundled with the sub-$50 "travel suction" crowd and into a carry-everywhere accessory that can sell at a higher price, which the Next Liberty also targets. The next thing to watch is whether independent reviewers find a 6-level, 60-minute device worth what Womanizer charges for it.

U.S. price and date confirmed: $79 on October 21. A Womanizer spokesperson told SEXTECHGUIDE (October 12) that Snap arrives in the U.S. on October 21, 2026 at $79. It is already on sale in the UK at £69, a price we confirmed on Womanizer's UK product page, where it shows as in stock. That closes the gap from our October 5 update, when we had only a Singapore retail price (SGD 154). SEXTECHGUIDE gives the device at 58mm long and just over 39g, with six intensities, about an hour of runtime and about an hour to recharge. That is far shorter than the 164mm Next Liberty, while the lipstick-styled Womanizer Beauty went the other way at 174mm.
The marketing has a new angle. Snap is being sold under the line "These are not headphones" and launched alongside fashion label Maitrepierre at Paris Fashion Week, presenting the charging case as an accessory. SEXTECHGUIDE's view: "Putting a familiar mechanism in a fresh outfit is a cheaper way to generate a launch than changing what the toy does," the same approach the Beauty used. It adds a fair caveat on "contactless" claims: the nozzle still sits against the surrounding skin.
Read: at $79/£69, Snap sits clearly between the sub-$50 travel suction toys and the $129 Next Liberty. Womanizer now has Pleasure Air at roughly $59 (Peach), $79 (Snap), $89 (Beauty), $129 (Next Liberty) and $239 (Next Duo), each in a different shell. That is a fashion-house approach to SKUs built on one patented motor, which parent Lovehoney Group has defended aggressively in court.
