On October 9, 2026, actress Megan Fox announced that she has become a co-owner of Subs.com, a direct-to-fan subscription platform co-founded by Tim Stokely, who co-founded OnlyFans. She launched her own paid page on the site the same day. The press release does not disclose the size of her stake or any financial terms. It says Fox has "a seat at the table as the company grows" and that more celebrities are "set to join in the coming months."
Why It Matters
Stokely's play is a celebrity-tier fan platform with equity for talent, positioned against the long tail OnlyFans built. OnlyFans' model takes 20% of creator revenue and gives creators no ownership. Offering established talent a cap-table stake turns them from a cost into distribution: every celebrity owner has a reason to bring their audience along and recruit peers. That is the main competitive threat to OnlyFans' top-earner segment, where a handful of mainstream names generate a disproportionate share of headlines and new sign-ups. There are open questions for investors and compliance teams. The release is vague about content standards. "Exclusive content" for a celebrity tier may be safe-for-work, risqué, or explicit, and that choice decides which payment processors, app stores and age-verification regimes Subs.com falls under. OnlyFans has spent years and a great deal of money building the KYC, age-verification and Mastercard-compliance infrastructure that explicit content requires. If Subs.com stays on the "spicy but not explicit" side, it can avoid most of that. If it doesn't, it inherits it. The undisclosed equity terms also matter. "Co-owner" can mean anything from a meaningful stake to a token advisory grant.Fox's quote is about ownership rather than content: "Women have spent decades being told that visibility is power while someone else owns the platform, the audience or the image. I'm interested in what happens when women own all three." Stokely said Fox "isn't simply launching a page on Subs — she has a seat at the table and is helping us build the platform." Subs.com describes itself as a service for "celebrities and public figures across film, sport, and music" who want to monetise exclusive content and fan relationships directly. Page Six, which obtained the release, reported that the page promises "videos, photos and posts you won't find anywhere else" and direct messaging. Citing a source, it said the launch traffic crashed the site repeatedly on day one.
The timing fits an eventful fortnight for Fox and the sexual-wellness market. Last week she fronted Ro's "Sparks" ED-drug campaign, playing the medication in a red catsuit (see Fox in the Hen House). Two mainstream celebrity deals in two weeks put her at the point where celebrity marketing meets the sex-adjacent economy.
