On October 19, 2026, ModelPlug officially launches. It is a multi-platform posting and scheduling tool for adult creators, and both XBIZ and AVN report the launch date. Creators upload content once and publish it from a single form to six platforms: OnlyFans, Fansly, Clips4Sale, YourVids, APClips and BentBox. The service also includes a content calendar for scheduling a full month of posts in one sitting, an import tool for bringing in an existing library, and "Workshop," a built-in editor for trimming clips, adding watermarks and cutting trailers. AVN reports a flat price of $39.99 per month.
Why It Matters
Both launches respond to the same problem: platform concentration. A creator who lives on one fan site carries all of that site's risk, from policy swings and payment-processor demands to regulatory action (France's Arcom just opened a DSA probe into Mym) and ownership changes. Cross-posting tools turn multi-homing from a time-consuming chore into a $40 subscription, which weakens the lock-in that big platforms rely on and makes the smaller sites more viable. The open questions are practical. Will the major platforms tolerate third-party automated posting? Platform terms, API access and moderation queues all sit between a "single form" and a live post. And how will cross-posting tools handle each site's different consent-documentation and age-verification requirements? HandSome's model goes further and tries to route around card networks and studios entirely. Its Japan-only beta will be an early test of whether on-chain distribution can work at scale.ModelPlug was founded by Cody Stokes, and its co-founder is Kenny B of PAYSITE.com. The pitch is about time. "Nobody had built this for creators yet, which is crazy when you think about how many of them are on multiple sites," Stokes said. "They've been spending hours every week doing the same uploads over and over." A company representative said the tool targets "a problem that keeps many creators monetizing on only one site: there isn't enough time to post and manage content everywhere that would pay them." Kenny B called it the next step after years of "giving creators their own platform to sell on, instead of renting space on someone else's." AVN says the founding team has more than 30 years of combined experience in the adult industry, and that the company is inviting other platforms to partner.
The launch lands in the same week as another piece of creator infrastructure. On October 14, Fukuoka-based Fidem opened a public beta of HandSome, a blockchain-based distribution platform for Japanese adult video. It was built by former JAV performer turned programmer Ami Kasai together with performers Genji Moribayashi, Riku Mukai and Ai Uehara. XBIZ reports that HandSome offers creators 70–80% of sales revenue, an on-chain record of rights ownership and a "right-to-be-forgotten" removal process. For now the beta is limited to Japanese IP addresses. AVN quotes the company as saying Japan's independent "Doujin" creator segment, which now out-earns the commercial studios, is "struggling because of credit card processing issues and heightened regulatory scrutiny."
