On September 23, 2026, SEXTECHGUIDE reported that Oslo-based Ohdoki, maker of The Handy, has launched Tip Sync on Stripchat — a feature that lets any tip sent in a public cam room trigger a simultaneous response on every connected Handy stroker in that room. Until now, Handy integration on Stripchat ran only in private, one-to-one sessions between a model and a single viewer. Tip Sync moves the device out of the private show and into the public floor.
Why It Matters
The economics here are worth spelling out, because they explain why both companies shipped this. Tip Sync converts a tip from a one-to-one transaction into a room-wide event: when one viewer pays, everyone with a connected device feels it, which turns tipping into a form of social proof and status display rather than a private exchange. For the platform, that raises the expected value of any given tip; for the model, it makes the tip menu a performance instrument; for Ohdoki, it embeds the hardware into the moment of payment rather than the moment of purchase. Teledildonics has spent a decade selling long-distance intimacy between two people. This is the first mainstream implementation that treats haptics as a broadcast medium. It also sharpens a privacy and consent question the segment has mostly deferred. A room-wide trigger means a third party's payment actuates a device on your body, and the connection key is the only gating mechanism. That is fine as a consensual opt-in — users type the key in themselves — but it makes the connection-key model the single point of control for an experience that can now be initiated by strangers. Connected-device security in this category has a poor track record; a feature designed around unbounded participant counts deserves more scrutiny than a private one-to-one session ever got. For competitors, the strategic read is that platform integration is now the moat, not motor quality. Lovense has spent years building the same kind of cam-site tipping ecosystem; Kiiroo has its own. The Handy's advantage has been raw stroking performance, and it is now spending that advantage on distribution. Expect Lovense to match the room-wide format quickly — and expect the cam platforms, who control the tip menu, to end up holding the leverage in whatever revenue arrangements follow. The mechanics are deliberately frictionless. Connection runs through the Sex Toy section of a model's tip menu, where the viewer enters the device's connection key. Ohdoki says there is no extra software, subscription or account setup required, no additional cost beyond the device the user already owns, and no cap on how many devices can join a single session. Once connected, a user can move between the public tip-triggered mode and private, model-directed control without leaving the room.
Ohdoki framed the change as a shift in format rather than a new feature. "Live streaming made it possible for millions of people to watch the same moment together. Tip Sync makes it possible to feel it together," the company said in its announcement. "When one person tips, an entire audience experiences the response at the same instant. That's a fundamentally new kind of live entertainment, and it's only possible when hardware and content are built to work as one."
This did not come out of nowhere. The Handy has been building toward a public-room integration on Stripchat since at least March 2026, when the company posted that it had begun alpha-testing a Handy-built extension using Stripchat's new external extensions feature — the same month it shipped an xHamster integration. Ohdoki's hardware line now runs from the $89.99 Oh! vibrator through The Handy 2 at $179 to The Handy 2 Pro at $379, and the company's cam-site integrations have become as much a part of the product as the stroker itself.
